DueNorth, for Exceptional Canine Care
Leaving your dog in the care of a stranger can be an emotional experience. We understand that
At DueNorth,  we love dogs as much as you do. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe, healthy and loving environment  for your dogs while you are away.
To that end we have designed our operation for your dog's safety and comfort:

  • Individual Rooms
Open housing so in vogue right now often leads to dog fights, stress and injury. Instead dogs are housed in individual kennels with gates on front so they can still see the other dogs and us as we work in the kennel.

  • Playtime at Duenorth
We have been doing this for over 20 years  and never allow incompatible dogs together at playtime. Some dogs love being with others, some don't, some can be choosy. We recognize the difference and are expert at selecting playmates, but safety always comes first.

  • Heated Floors
We have Kuranda cots for each dog but you can bring his own bed or whatever makes her comfortable, but the floor is heated so we find most dogs prefer to lie directly on it.

Any diet, from kibble to homemade or raw and any medication regime can be accommodated, at no additional charge (within reason).
  • Location
DueNorth boarding kennels is located in a pleasant country setting a short drive from Peterborough or Lakefield.
  • Most Affordable

  • Dogs Love Us
Our kennel is so popular with our guests that the dogs of a regular client some distance away recently ran away from home and turned up at DueNorth's gate waiting to get in! We can't give you a better testimonial than that!

You can rest, assured that your four legged family member will be safe, comfortable and as happy as he can be in your absence.
