At DueNorth we love dogs. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe, healthy and loving environment for your pets while you are away. Our kennels have solid walls on 3 sides with a door to the outside (not left open in winter) and a chain link door on the front of each kennel. This makes it possible for your dog to safely see out at other dogs and people unlike a cageless kennel where the dogs are totally isolated from people and other dogs. Because your dog spends time watching people and dogs you don't need to spend extra money on TV time for your dog. Since our kennel is small, it is generally fairly quiet during rest periods. Your dog will have an individual kennel and can bring his own bed or whatever makes him comfortable. Hugs and kisses are free!
If your dog enjoys being outside, he can stay in the play yard longer, if not, the indoor kennels are roomy and bright. We prefer to put dogs out individually and reserve the right to make decisions about which dogs are suitable to play together....not all dogs are comfortable being with other dogs. Any diet, from kibble to homemade or raw and any medication regime can be accommodated, at no additional charge (within reason). DueNorth boarding kennels is located in a pleasant country setting a short drive from Peterborough or Lakefield.
